McLeod Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is committed to sharing knowledge and information with the community, area organizations, and agencies. Nature Field Day
McLeod Soil & Water Conservation District hosts a field trip for McLeod County 4th graders from area schools annually in May; there is no charge for the children to attend. Each year hosts a variety of educational stations, such as: fisheries, animal health, trees & soil, Department of Natural Resources (DNR), recycling and compost, water, and even an eagle booth!
