VINE Offender Information

What is VINE? VINE (Victim Information & Notification Everyday) is a free, anonymous, computer-based service that provides victims of crime two important services: information and notification.  

VINE will tell you if an offender is in the custody of the Minnesota Department of Corrections or a county jail (that is participating in the VINE program) and give you custody information.  VINE will also let you leave a phone number where you want to be called automatically when that offender is released or transferred.  

Obtaining Offender Information
There are two ways to obtain VINE offender information.  Log on to the VINE Web site at www.vinelink.com or call 866-277-7477.  There are information leaflets available in the lobby at the McLeod County Sheriff's Office.
