Inmate Money

All inmates will have an account set up at the time of booking.  There are three options to provide funds to an inmate:
  • Funds may be sent to inmates through the U.S. mail in the form of cash or money order made payable to “The McLeod County Jail for the account of (inmate’s name)"
  • Funds may be deposited into an inmate’s account via the sheriff's office lobby kiosk during normal business hours
  • Funds may be deposited into an inmate’s account via the commissary network at www.team3.inmatecanteen.com
  • Upon release, any remaining funds will be refunded to the inmate. Booking fees, indigent supplies, and any post debts will be deducted from the account prior to any refund.
