The Veterans Career Fair features 100 employers, complimentary LinkedIn photography station, resume review assistance, mock interviews, and service providers offering assistance for Veterans and their families.

MDVA is honored to host a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. The commemoration will provide an opportunity for healing by thanking and honoring Minnesota Vietnam-era Veterans wherever they served. The event will highlight the service of the Armed Forces during the Vietnam War and recognize contributions and sacrifices made by allies of the United States during the Vietnam War. A resource fair/ information tables will provide a "one-stop shop" for Vietnam Veterans and their families. Historical displays will be setup from the Minnesota Military and Veteran Museum.

Operation Welcome Home Summer Family Camp: Jul. 8-10, 2024

Serving military members and families, Ironwood's Operation Welcome Home program is a series of retreats for active military, veterans and their families. Retreats are provided free of charge, providing a place for the military community to come together, strengthen their faith, build relationships and support each other. Activities include: horseback riding, zipline, wagon rides, campfires, swimming, minigolf, and more. There is a $50 deposit to hold your family's spot but is refunded after arrival or if cancellation occurs no later than 3 weeks prior to the event. Camp Bliss is excited to welcome you to the serene and supportive setting of Camp Bliss! They bring families together to enjoy quality time connecting and bonding with other military families who have gone through the same experiences. There are 20 total spots available for Veterans and families (children 10-18 years old only) on a first-come-first-serve basis, with a waiting list if these slots fill. To register, fill out the registration form and return to the address listed at the bottom of the application no later than April 19, 2024.
