Dreams for Veterans-
Officially launched in Washington, D.C., in 2015, Dream Foundations' Dreams for Veterans program tailors the Dream experience to veterans and their families. Dream for Veterans honors veterans' service by fulfilling their final Dream, providing them, their families and caregivers inspiration, comfort and closure at the end of life.

Folds of Honor Scholarship-
The Folds of Honor Foundation is rallying a nation to ensure that no family is left behind in the fight to preserve American freedom. Through scholarships and other assistance, they give back to spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to our country.

Lutheran Social Services (LSS)-
LSS provides FREE, confidential and caring professional support for veterans and their families. If you or your family is struggling or having a hard time coping with stress, you are not alone.

Counseling services, resources, and referrals that are offered include: individual, family, and couples counseling, in-home counseling, deployment and reintegration assistance, anger and stress management counseling, financial and debt management counseling, addiction counseling, abuse and other types of trauma counseling, respite care, and caregiver support.

McLeod County Veterans Park-

The McLeod County Veterans Park located in Hutchinson, MN, recognizes the sacrifices of those in the armed forces. You are invited to become a part of this historical monument to our veterans by either making a donation or purchasing a brick paver, or both. All veterans, living or deceased, may be permanently acknowledged in the Veterans Walking Path of Honor with an engraved brick paver. Paver order forms must be received before August 1st each year to be installed in the park by Veteran's Day of the same year. 

Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV)-
MACV provides assistance throughout Minnesota to positively motivated veterans and their families who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or are experiencing other life crises. MACV strives to serve, inform, educate, and train others to carry a message of hope. As a result, MACV aims to set a national standard for respectfully meeting household and supportive services needs of veterans while maintaining the worth and dignity of all those involved.

Minnesota Military Appreciation Fund (MMAF)-
MMAF is a statewide fundraising initiative by the citizens of Minnesota, for Minnesota military personnel and their families. Launched in August of 2005, MMAF is a non-partisan, non-political, 501c3 corporation. The mission of MMAF is to say "thanks" to Minnesota service members and their families who are making sacrifices in the defense of our freedoms in combat zones around the world. MMAF has provided over $10.9 million in grants to more than 17,100 recipients, making it the nation's largest ever statewide fundraiser of its kind.

Operation Black Hills Cabin-
Founded in 2011 by a retired military couple, Operation Black Hills Cabin is located just outside of Custer, SD, in the beautiful Black Hills. Its purpose is to offer a week's vacation to qualifying Iraq/Afghanistan Campaign wounded veterans and their families, at little to no expense to them. This cabin is a new 3-bedroom, fully furnished and handicapped accessible cabin. The lodging will be provided at no cost. Also, several local restaurants and attractions are offering free meals and admission for the families. Travel is not provided. Please visit their website for more information.

Veterans on the Water- 
Veterans on the Water was started in 2016 by Steve Gillaspie and offers a free fishing experience of excitement, fun and laughter for Veterans. The boats are custom designed with red, white and blue and offer several accessibility accommodations for Veterans. Please visit their website for more information. 

Veterans Ticket Foundation-
Veterans Ticket Foundation, also known as Vet Tix, is a nationally recognized 501c3 veterans support organization whose mission is to "give something to those who gave." Vet Tix teams up with major sports teams, leagues, promoters, organizations, companies, venues and everyday event ticket holders to provide free (and discounted) tickets to more than 26 million active military, veterans, and their families.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)-
WWP serves veterans and services members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. Their mission is to honor and empower these wounded warriors. They do this by raising awareness and enlisting the public's aid for needs of the injured service members. They also help injured service members aid and assist each other and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
