Parks & Recreation encompasses McLeod County Parks, Trails and Fairgrounds Facilities.
McLeod County has six County Parks totaling 571 acres.

Regional Parks & Camping Facilities

• Lake Marion Regional Park (north of Brownton) - Brochure - Campground Map

• Buffalo Creek Park (east of Glencoe)
• Stahl's Lake Park (north of Hutchinson)

2024 Season: April 26 - October 21 (Reservations open March 1, 2024)

• RV/Electric Sites: $35 per night
• Tent/Non-Electric Sites: $25 per night
• Shelters: $55 per day

Please note: Credit/debit card fees of 3% or higher (depending on card type used) will be charged by the processor. These fees will not appear on your receipt, but will be reflected on your card statement.

Camping Cancellations/Refunds

• If the reservation is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the arrival date, a $10 administration fee per site will be forfeited. 
• If the reservation is cancelled fewer than 14 days prior to the arrival date, the first nights camping fee plus a $10 administration fee per site will be forfeited.
• The refund will be issued in the form of a check.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

Shelter Cancellations/Refunds

• If the reservation is cancelled 14 days or more prior to your arrival date, a $10 administration fee will be forfeited.
• If reservation is cancelled few than 14 days prior to your arrival date, no refund will be issued.
