During construction the road will be closed to all thru traffic, but access will be maintained for individuals living along or doing business along the road. There will be a detour established.

This project includes the removal of existing pavement, subsurface soils corrections, horizontal and vertical curve adjustments, installation of a new railroad crossing, construction of a new roundabout at 16th Street and new bituminous pavement. During construction the road will be closed to all thru traffic, but access will be maintained for individuals living along or doing business along the road. The project is funded with a combination of State Bonding, Municipal and County State Aid, and City funds.
