CHILDREN’S DENTAL SERVICES
McLeod County Public Health is offering DENTAL CARE through Children’s Dental Services (CDS), which is a traveling dental clinic.  Children ages 0-21 and pregnant women of any age are eligible for services.  Routine dental treatments including the following can be done:  Cleanings, Fluoride, Sealants, Oral health education, Exams, X-Rays, Fillings, Crowns, and Extractions.  The Clinic will be open for appointments for the following dates in 2021: March 19th, May 21st, July 16th, September 17th, and November 19th from 8:30 to 3:30.  CDS accepts all forms of insurance and has discounts for income eligible families.  Please call our main office at 320-864-3185 or CDS at 612-746-1530 to schedule an appointment.  Appointments will be located at the McLeod County Government Center, 520 Chandler Ave N, 2nd Floor Meeting Room, Glencoe, MN 55336. *During COVID-19 pandemic, CDS is accepting patients of any age* 

FLUORIDE VARNISHINGYour child can have fluoride varnish applied to his or her teeth up to four times a year. Fluoride varnishing is a temporary protective coating that is painted on the teeth to help prevent new cavities and to help stop small cavities that have already started. The fluoride varnish can be applied on infants from the time they get their first tooth. Please call to schedule an appointment. Fee information, based on income eligibility, will be provided when an appointment is scheduled. McLeod Count Public Heath is offering Fluoride Varnishing’s at McLeod County schools, which will be offered to students in the Fall and Spring each year.
