no English phone number 800-247-1756Financial assistance provides support to low income residents of McLeod County.  Eligibility for public assistance programs such as Medical Assistance, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as Food Support), General Assistance, and the Minnesota Family Investment Program is determined by Health and Human Services.  

To be eligible for these services, specific program guidelines must be met and income and assets must be within the set limits.  To see if you may qualify for a service, complete the Eligibility Screening Tool.

This easy-to-complete on-line application is sent to our agency electronically and, can conveniently be signed electronically.  You will also be able to upload documents to include with your application such as paystubs, identification, shelter and utility costs, etc.
