Dental Health Services
McLeod County Public Health offers dental care through Children’s Dental Services (CDS), a traveling dental clinic. Children ages 0-21 and pregnant women of any age are eligible for services.
Routine dental treatments including the following can be done: Cleanings, Fluoride, Sealants, Oral health education, Exams, X-Rays, Fillings, Crowns, and Extractions.
2023 Clinic DatesThe Clinic will be open for appointments for the following dates in 2023:
- January 20
- March 17
- May 19
- July 21
- September 15
- November 17
All clinics are from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
CDS accepts all forms of insurance and has discounts for income eligible families.

Appointments will be located at the McLeod County Government Center, 520 Chandler Ave N, 2nd Floor Meeting Room, Glencoe, MN 55336.

Fluoride VarnishingChildren can have fluoride varnish applied to their teeth up to four times a year. Fluoride varnishing is a temporary protective coating that is painted on the teeth to help prevent new cavities and to help stop small cavities that have already started. The fluoride varnish can be applied on infants from the time they get their first tooth.
