Adult Protective Services
The Adult Protective Services Unit, as an agent of the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services, is authorized to investigate the abuse, neglect and exploitation of an elderly or disabled person, who resides in a community setting, and to provide protective services and community support to that person.

Chemical Dependency

McLeod County Health & Human Services provides chemical use assessments (sometimes referred to as “Rule 25 assessments”) for individuals seeking to know if they are drug or alcohol dependent and treatment options.

Developmental Disabilities

Developmental Disabilities is a unit within McLeod County Health and Human Services, that provides services to eligible children and adults with disabilities.

Housing Options

McLeod County provides help for people to live in the community as independently as possible. Our services can help the elderly and people with disabilities, and their families, with service planning and getting the help they need.

Mental Health

The Mental Health unit works to provide assessment, therapy and consultation services to the residents of McLeod County.
