McLeod County Environmental Services will provide small businesses the opportunity to use our facility. Appropriate fees will be assigned to hazardous materials, and a tipping fee is charged for recyclables. In many cases, this can still reduce cost of garbage fees while also improving site safety.

What size Hazardous Waste Generator is your business?
Use the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Hazardous Waste Generator Tools to determine what size generator of waste your business is considered.
*Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) and Minimal Generators MUST submit an application & preliminary inventory, for review, prior to delivery of hazardous material. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) staff will review and follow-up with questions or to schedule a delivery appointment. If an application and inventory is not received, and/or an appointment is not scheduled with HHW staff, business material will NOT be accepted.
Recycling Center Paper Shredding
A paper shredder is located on-site for local resident and small business use (regular business hours only). Enter through the 2nd set of sliding glass doors at the West facility entrance.
