Reuse Center

Don't Need It? Someone might. When you bring in your acceptable items of unneeded paint, cleaners, automotive or lawn products for environmentally-safe recycling and disposal, some of it may be stocked in the McLeod County Household Hazardous Waste Facility Reuse Center for other citizens to use free of charge. Our Reuse Center serves McLeod, Sibley, Meeker and Carver counties. The Reuse Center is an area consisting of usable products that were brought to the facility by participants . Rather than process these items as waste, the opportunity is given to residents to REUSE them, thus reducing waste.

Some items available in the Product Reuse Center include latex, exterior and interior, oil based paints, paint thinners, varnish removers, cleaning products, rust inhibitor paints, automotive items, adhesives, sealers, wood stains, aerosol paints, household cleaners, and other miscellaneous items. These products vary in availability and quantity; a good selection is generally available, come check it out during our open business hours.

There is a Limit of 3 items per visit/day in order to maintain product variety for all users of the Product Reuse Center, and all participants are required to sign out the items they choose to reuse.
